The Date: Sunday, August 21st, 2016, rain or shine.

The Ride:

The NS Wine Country Ride is a non-competitive “brevet populaire”, where riders make scheduled stops and stamp their “brevet” card during time windows.

Riders must be able to maintain speeds of 8.5 km/hr, INCLUDING their time at the rest stops to successfully complete the brevet.

The total distance is 60km over rolling hills with two longer climbs up the Greenwich Connector to Ridge Road and over Grand Pre Road from the Gaspereau Valley.

You can look at the map here.

Each stop will feature a small tasting of wine for each ride, snacks, and lunch at Domaine de Grand Pré. Those preferring a non-alcoholic sample will have one available, as well as fresh water for all at each stop.

Valley Stove and Cycle will be providing en route maintenance for anyone experiencing issues along the way.

Tickets can be purchased here!

Registration is open from 8:00AM to pick up your ride package and brevet card. There will be a pre-ride briefing at 9:00AM.
